Partners in Prayer

Jesus said, “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.” (Matt. 18:19)

We invite you to pray for the ministry of Malaysian CARE and for the needs of the poor & needy in our communities.
Prayer Points for this Month (December 2024)
Special Needs
WEEK 1
December 1-7, 2024
  1. Pray for the ability to understand and connect with each child who has unique needs, for teachers to be creative in their approach, and for wisdom and insight to support the families of these children.
  2. Pray for ongoing efforts to raise awareness among parents and the public, particularly in schools and churches, so that connections, acceptance and inclusion can fully materialise.
  3. Give thanks to the Lord for more volunteers who are committed to coaching young individuals with special needs in search of available jobs. By working together, we can strengthen the network of employment coaching services.
  4. Pray for creativity and wisdom as we collaborate with Progam Pendidkan Khas Integrasi (PPKI) SMK Bahang to establish networks with Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat Sabah and other agencies, raise awareness, recruit parents as Job Coaches, and operate a Job Coach Training programme and student employment.
  5. Pray that parents will find solace in the Toy Library and many will make use of its resources.

WEEK 2

December 8-14, 2024
  1. Pray for the Kampung Labu community as they work hard to widen and level the main road to their gardens and farms using only hoes, chainsaws and machetes. The road stretches about 5 kilometers from the village. Pray for God’s protection over their safety and health until the work is completed.
  2. Pray for the establishment of the Orang Asli Youth Association Committee in Pos Sinderut, proposed and supported by the MB of Cameron Highlands, YB Dato’ Dr Ramli Mod Nor. Pray for its success in creating opportunities for rural youth through sports programs, entrepreneurship, and educational initiatives.
  3. Pray for Kampung Semul’s challenges in producing agricultural crops, as they struggle with transportation and marketing their produce to buyers. Pray that God will open doors for them to sell their products outside the village, so their income can increase and they can better support their families.
  4. Pray for the village youth facing challenges in finding work or continuing their studies. Some struggle to stay in jobs outside the village, dislike working away from home, or face limited job opportunities. Additionally, many parents hesitate to encourage their children to leave the village for work or further education, fearing they might be negatively influenced.
  5. Pray that the youth find a balanced way to contribute to their community while pursuing their interests and hobbies. May they discover opportunities to blend their passions with meaningful work and community involvement.
